We went and played in the flowers again, this time I brought a ladder to get a higher angle to show more flowers. All these were shot with a off camera flash with no modifier and light stand.

Macro Photography
I tried some macro photography this weekend. Jaredd let me borrow his Canon 100mm macro along with
his Kenko extension tubes. My first try was pretty bad since I had no idea what settings I needed to use.
I shot the first set with no flash at 2.8 and it was SUPER hard to focus and get proper exposure. I did a little
research and found that I needed to go min f11 and use the flash to compensate for the lower aperture.
This image was shot the canon 100mm macro w/stacked extention tubes @ 200th, ISO 200, F11 with a 430 ex flash on 1/4 power.
This next image was shot using my Canon 28-105mm along with the Kenko tubes with the same exposure
settings. I was real impressed with the quality. Not quite as sharp as the Canon 100mm.

Andy and Meghan’s Engagement Shoot
Andy had a great idea to get the boys together to draw “Meghan Will U Marry Me?” in the sand and
Schedule a plane ride so he could propose in the plane while she sees the sand from above. He
asked me to come along and shoot the occasion…I jumped at the chance for this great photo opp.
It was fun playing along like I hired the plane to shoot some new aerials and I had room for the two
to tag along;) The airport was in on it as well…she had no idea and it was soooo cool when she saw the
writing in the sand and said YES! Times like these make me love being a photographer, capturing these
special moments in time.
Congratulations to you both, and thank you to Hunter Heverly, Andy Cranford and Josh Johnson for
carving out the huge letters in the sand.

Hammond Wedding at Lake Arrowhead Resort
Congratulations to Barry and Heather Hammond! They got hitched on Nov 7th
at Lake Arrowhead Resort. They flew my family and I out to attend the wedding
and Photograph everything.

Tropical Storm Danny – TS Danny
I ventured over to New Smyrna today to catch the remaining swell from TS Danny.
It was one my best days of the year…the waves were very clean and peaky, so I surfed
a few hours and shot photos the rest of the day.
